Just Do It, Part 1

We begin our series with the first verse of the book of James. We’re introduced to James, a skeptic turned saint, turned servant of God who saw the importance of putting God’s words into action. The strength of a life, a family, a community and a nation rests on the shoulders of God’s people who know, embrace and live out God’s truth, and Just Do It.

The gathering storm will only be avoided if God’s people, put God’s words into action.
— Pastor Tim Chicola

Scripture:

James 1:1

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.

Highlights:

• We have become desensitized to, and have in many cases outright abandoned, truth.

• Rescue will only come when God’s people once again listen to, and embrace, his timeless truths.

• When scripture speaks, God speaks, and when God speaks, his people put holy words into holy practice.

The gathering storm will only be avoided if God’s people, put God’s words into action.
