1-The Book of Philippians: An Expository Study with George Hillman
Paul is imprisoned. The church has it’s share of issues; how easy to be discouraged by that. Paul, however, encourages them by focusing on the joy, fellowship, love , and gratitude he and the Philippian church were experiencing. We too have much to be discouraged about. By extension, Paul encourages us too. Philippians highlights the joyfulness and rejoicing we ought to be experiencing as we continue in the gospel, serve the Lord, stay focused on what really matters, and live as citizens of heaven and not this world, eagerly waiting for the return of Christ.
2-Men and Marriage: Overcoming 6 Unspoken Tensions with Dennis Alabi (Men’s Study)
Most men, married or not, have real questions about marriage, desire, conflict, intimacy, and other relational issues that go completely undiscussed. These topics are difficult to discuss in meaningful conversation and can therefore go completely unaddressed resulting in tension we are ashamed to admit until it is too late. In this series, we talk about them. We’ll get to hear insights from a group of charming women about what they think we (men) think. But even more, we will hear from six powerful Scriptures about how to understand and address the tensions that men experience that often go unaddressed. Join Vince Miller, in a discussion on Men and Marriage and let’s overcome the tension.
3-The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry with Pastor Peter Seide
All of us feel the weight of busyness. We are busy at work, raising families, and so many other obligations. We run from one thing to another to the point where we cannot remember the last time we rested or had free time. Though busyness can feel productive, it can sap you of spiritual, physical and emotional energy. God offers a better path. In this 5-week study led by John Comer, we will address how hurry is the greatest threat to our spiritual lives.
