Your child will spend over 14,000 hours during 13 years in school in New Jersey. Are you satisfied with their education? Are your kids thriving and growing in all the ways that are important to you? Is God concerned with how and where your child learns? Do you wish for something more for your child, but you don't know where to start?
Join us Tuesday night, December 10th, for "A Conversation about Education: Considering the Possibilities and Alternatives." We'll explore the atmosphere, discipline, and life that can bring truth, goodness, and beauty back into your child's learning, whether it's your addition to their public school, a switch to a private Christian school, participation in a hybrid or co-op group, or a venture into a new vision of homeschooling. Our speaker will be Donna-Jean Breckenridge, homeschool mom and grandmother, and one of the founders and creators of AmblesideOnline, a free, classically-based curriculum that has been used by families in homeschools and Christian schools around the world for nearly 25 years. Our evening will also feature Amy Galarowicz, the founder and elementary guide of Vine Montessori, a Christian homeschool support located in Montclair, New Jersey. Both Donna-Jean and Amy attend The Crossing Church; both want to share with you their ideas and encouragement for your family as you follow God's call for education.
Please RSVP by December 8th.
Childcare is available.
